No Speedy Resolution To Speeding Vehicles In Rayleigh

Residents who contact me regarding speeding vehicles in their roads, will be equally as frustrated as I am to read this correspondence that I have received from the Police, Fire, Crime Commissioner. This was in response to a query I raised with them regarding the use of an 'autospeedwatch' device in Rayleigh. Speed surveys cost the taxpayer money but it seems community speedwatch is the police response to speeding on local roads. As a note Rayleigh Town Council hasn't run any speedwatch sessions for over 3 years!

If you have a concern with speeding in your area please contact Rayleigh Town Council at clerk@rayleightowncouncil.gov.uk with the Subject Line: Speedwatch Request

Speed survey data can be found here for Queens Road, The Chase
